MARIANNE WILLIAMSON RETURNS TO THE PALMETTO STATE FOR A 4-DAY CAMPAIGN SWING WILL CELEBRATE HER BIRTHDAY IN SOUTH CAROLINA ON JULY 8!
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Democratic Presidential Candidate, best-selling author, and activist Marianne Williamson returns to South Carolina for the first time since she received one of the only standing ovations at the SC Democratic Party Convention in Columbia last month. This will be her eighth visit to South Carolina. While in the Palmetto State, Ms. Williamson will celebrate her July 8th birthday and will meet with Democratic party leaders, community leaders, and potential primary voters in a series of events, tours, and stops.
During her time she will participate in a meet and greet in Sumter, SC at the newly opened Country Boys Restaurant. The eatery is owned by popular radio personality, singer and choir Director, Jeffrey Lampkin and his wife attorney Harriett Lampkin. Also, on Monday, June 8th, Williamson will begin her birthday by traveling to the Low Country and touring the Metanoia Entrepreneurship Project in North Charleston, SC. While in Charleston, she will appear in front of a live studio audience for the taping of the Raw Table Talk; a Podcast hosted by local businesswoman and activist Smarel Nicole Brown. Williamson will finish the day in Bamberg County where she will host dinner at Southern Soul Restaurant for community members to share their plight about the unsafe water conditions in the city of Denmark.
On July 9th, Williamson will continue her SC visit by hosting a dinner and meet and greet at Thee Matriarch Bed and Breakfast in Orangeburg. Williamson will spend the following day in Chester County, participating in a leadership breakfast at Calvary Baptist Church, touring the City and County with Mayor Pro Tem Angela Douglas, and hosting a community luncheon at the Chester Regional Agribusiness Center. That evening the Williamson Campaign Tour will cross the border to North Carolina where she will be the guest speaker at the Charlotte Election Season Kick Off at Heist Brewery in Charlotte, hosted by the Young Professional Leaders group.
